Apanh\u00e1mos o metro em Blanche (linha azul) em direc\u00e7\u00e3o a Nation, em Barb\u00e8s Rochechouart troc\u00e1mos para a linha rosa (direc\u00e7\u00e3o Porte d&#8217;Orl\u00e9ans) e subimos \u00e0 superf\u00edcie em Montparnasse Bienvenue.<br \/>\nCome\u00e7\u00e1mos por percorrer o bairro de Montparnasse e as suas largas ruas at\u00e9 ao cemit\u00e9rio do bairro, um dos quatro maiores de Paris, todos constru\u00eddos na mesma \u00e9poca e que tamb\u00e9m guarda os restos mortais de alguns famosos. O jardim possui uma grande colec\u00e7\u00e3o de est\u00e1tuas, entre elas o modelo da Est\u00e1tua da Liberdade usado para construir a est\u00e1tua real, e um conjunto de lagos e parques para lazer infantil. Em 1611, Maria de M\u00e9dicis, vi\u00fava de Henrique IV, decidiu construir uma r\u00e9plica do grandioso Pal\u00e1cio Pitti, e contratou especialistas em jardinagem para recriar os jardins que ela conheceu enquanto crian\u00e7a em Floren\u00e7a. O parque \u00e9 lind\u00edssimo, e no Outono o ch\u00e3o cobre-se de folhas de todas as cores, apetece ficar ali a contemplar o percurso das folhas desde as \u00e1rvores at\u00e9 ao ch\u00e3o.<br C\u00e2mara do 5\u00baArroundissement de Paris, a igreja de Saint-\u00c9tienne-du-Mont e a Biblioteca de Santa Genoveva. Neste jardim existem tr\u00eas estufas, o jardim de Inverno, a estufa mexicana e a estufa australiana. Cont\u00e9m ainda um pequeno parque zool\u00f3gico cuja entrada custa 10\u20ac e cont\u00e9m\u00a0cerca de 1.100 animais, entre mam\u00edferos, r\u00e9pteis e p\u00e1ssaros. O edif\u00edcio da Opera Garnier \u00e9 considerado uma das obras-primas da arquitectura do seu tempo. Foi constru\u00eddo em estilo neobarroco e tem capacidade para 1979 espectadores sentados. O edif\u00edcio \u00e9 de facto imponente, ao entrarmos no in\u00edcio da rua, que \u00e9 muito extensa, j\u00e1 se v\u00ea ao fundo aquela impon\u00eancia toda. Na escadaria da Opera muitas pessoas descansam e assistem a um mini-concerto que um artista de rua d\u00e1 ali mesmo.
