{"id":1050,"date":"2012-09-17T18:01:35","date_gmt":"2012-09-17T17:01:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.avidalafora.com\/?p=1050"},"modified":"2012-09-17T18:01:35","modified_gmt":"2012-09-17T17:01:35","slug":"nassau-a-capital-dos-piratas-1-de-julho","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/avidalafora.com\/index.php\/2012\/09\/17\/nassau-a-capital-dos-piratas-1-de-julho\/","title":{"rendered":"Nassau, a capital dos piratas (1 de Julho)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Passam uns minutos das 7 da manh\u00e3 quando acordo e logo espreito pela janela do quarto, vejo Nassau a aproximar-se, como se a janela fosse um ecr\u00e3 de televis\u00e3o e estivesse a assistir a um filme.<br \/>\nNassau, na ilha de New Providence, a antiga cidade dos piratas, \u00e9 a maior cidade e a capital das Bahamas onde o estilo arquitect\u00f3nico colonial est\u00e1 bem vis\u00edvel. O porto de Nassau \u00e9 bastante importante, \u00e9 aqui que atracam todos os cruzeiros que percorrem estas \u00e1guas. A pesca e o turismo s\u00e3o as duas actividades econ\u00f3micas de maior import\u00e2ncia das Bahamas e da\u00ed que este porto seja t\u00e3o importante.<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\nMetemos o p\u00e9 em terra firme e nem cheg\u00e1mos a sair do porto, entr\u00e1mos logo num pequeno barco com destino ao Coral Reef para fazer Snorkling, que fica a cerca de 45 minutos do porto de Nassau. No in\u00edcio corria tudo muito bem, o colete parecia funcionar bem e servir o seu prop\u00f3sito at\u00e9 ao momento em que o senti esvaziar, resumidamente, passei o resto da aventura de Snorkling com um colete que s\u00f3 me protegia do sol, que se n\u00e3o soubesse nadar bem que me podiam ir buscar junto aos peixinhos l\u00e1 no fundo.<br \/>\nSendo que esta era a segunda vez que faz\u00edamos Snorkling, a primeira tinha sido na \u00c1sia, fic\u00e1mos ligeiramente desiludidos com o passeio, primeiro porque as pessoas eram tantas e a zona onde pod\u00edamos andar era t\u00e3o restrita que andava sempre a bater em algu\u00e9m com as barbatanas ou a levar com as barbatanas de outros. Vimos os edif\u00edcios coloniais, o mercado onde era capaz de passar horas, as lojas de diamantes t\u00e3o famosas em Nassau, \u00a0e acab\u00e1mos o passeio num bar em frente ao porto, o Sharkeez, a beber uma Kalik (cerveja local) e a assistir a um jogo de Portugal do Euro.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.avidalafora.com\/?attachment_id=1077\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-1077\"><img loading=\"lazy\"
